About the Seed Research Grants
The department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) @ RNSIT is a place where academic excellence & innovation converge. The department has been proudly shaping future engineers for over 22 years providing quality education, cutting-edge research opportunities and a strong foundation for successful careers. The department holds the distinguished NBA accreditation, a testament to our commitment to state-of-the-art labs, industry partnership ensures holistic learning experience. The department currently offers an Undergraduate program [estd.2001] with intake of 240 and VTU recognized R&D center [estd.2009]. R&D CSE currently has 18 scholars pursuing their research and 21 scholars have been awarded the degree so far. The department has constituted Center of Excellence in Machine Learning, FitterLife and Agile Labs to progress itself to the rapid advancements in various specialized fields. The department has conducted 35+ FDPs, 3 International Conferences, 2 National conferences and over 250 invited talks for the benefit of faculties and students.
The department is striving hard in realizing the vision of the institution by accomplishing the vision of the department by promoting excellence in teaching and covering the fundamentals of computer science.
