International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Systems (ICDECS)
The 4th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Systems (ICDECS) is a premier forum for researchers and practitioners interested in advances and applications of Data Engineering, Image Processing, and Communication Systems. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. ICDECS aims to strengthen relationships between Industries, Organizations, Research Laboratories and Institutions. Data Engineering and Communication Systems deal with the use of techniques, design methodologies, development, and assessment of information systems for different computing platforms and application environments. The purpose of this conference is to share the research solutions for problems of today’s Communication and Information Systems by identifying new issues and approaches.

Important Projects
Jeevadhara- An AI Enabled Application connecting Senses for Disabled People
Gokulnath V, Hemanth Bhat, Omkar Murthy P, Sai Adithya Kumar D
Guides / Investigators : Dr. Mohan H S
This invention introduces an AI-driven multimodal assistive system that integrates image-to-speech, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech functionalities into a single adaptive model, overcoming the fragmentation of current assistive technologies. This human-centric solution empowers disabled individuals by breaking down communication barriers, fostering social inclusion, and enabling independent interaction with digital content and their surroundings.
Deep Learning-Based Enhanced Detection of Leaf Diseases in Grapevines: Data Augmentation and Automation
Jahnavi R, Modupalli Jahnavi Naidu, Neha P, Ruchitha T
Guide : Dr. Sreevidya R C
The Automated Detection of Leaf Diseases in Grape Plants leverages advanced deep learning techniques, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for disease identification and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for data augmentation to enhance robustness and prevent overfitting. The system incorporates image preprocessing, feature extraction using ResNet50 and ResNet101 models, and model fusion to improve accuracy.
NeuroVision: Deep Learning and BCI for AI enabled Assistive Devices
Shreya J, Uthsava Kumari, Shirisha M, Rukmini K
Guides / Investigators : Dr. Mahantesh K
The integration of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology with deep learning offers a transformative opportunity for developing advanced assistive devices, especially for individuals with motor disabilities. In the system titled "NeuroVision: Deep Learning and BCI for AI-Enabled Assistive Devices", we aim to bridge the gap between human cognition and machine systems using EEG signals evoked by visual stimuli.
Dog Safety System- An loT-Enabled safety system for real-time canine health and hazard alerts.
Aditi Ashok J, K Keerthi, Nidhi R, Shreyas Holla
Guides / Investigators : Dr. Naveen L
The Dog Alert System is an innovative wearable device designed to enhance pet safety by addressing gaps in real-time monitoring. Motivated by growing concerns for pet well-being during outdoor activities, this system integrates advanced sensors into a durable collar, offering immediate hazard detection and emergency alerts
Design of Agricultural Monitoring and Decision Support System
Sanjana Shetty, Nithyashree M S
Guide: Dr. Sreevidya R C
To design and develop an integrated greenhouse monitoring system that accurately measures and controls key environmental parameters in real time to optimize plant growth, enhance resource efficiency, and ensure sustainable agricultural practices.
