Well ventilated class rooms each having a seating capacity of 75. Every class room is so equipped to conduct theory classes using both conventional black board and LCD Projector for audio visual flavor.

The department has 7 course specific laboratories such as Electrical Machines lab, High Voltage and Relay Lab, Electronics Lab, Control systems Lab, Basic Electrical Engineering Lab and Power Electronics Lab with equipment rated from few volts to kilo volts range. A dedicated computer lab with simulation tools such as MATLAB and licensed software such as Mi Power (5 user license), PSCAD (10 user license),appropriate LAN connectivity and other accessories to carryout lab courses such as Power System Simulation Lab, DSP lab, Microcontroller Lab and also to carryout simulation based academic projects.
